Freshman (First Year of High School)

Focus on quality writing skills and reading comprehension.

Required social studies course introducing students to the major civilizations and cultures throughout the history of the world.

Required math course including reviews of the major pre-algebra concepts.

Students will be introduced to Chemistry, physics and astronomy.

Elective - Science

A study of systems including the water cycle, carbon cycle, weather, plate techtonics, and hurricanes, tornadoes, and volcanoes.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office.

Sophomore (Second Year of High School)

Focus on improving writing skills and improving reading comprehension.

Required social studies course providing a survey of United States History.

Required second year of math.

Students explore cells, atoms, ecosystems, plant and animal kingdoms and explore how humans affect the world in which we live.

PE Required

Students gain an understanding of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Elective - Math

Studens will reinforce, broaden, and extend Algebra skills in real-world scenarios.

Junior (Third Year of High School)

Students prepare for college work through this course that focuses on college entrance exams.

Students prepare to vote and to understand the principles of a democratic society.

Students extend their math skills through advanced math concepts.

Composition, structure and Reactions of matter.

Elective - Applied Technology

Students continue to improve their understanding of digital design and word processing.

Introduction to the history and research of psychology, learning and cognitive development.

Senior (Fourth Year of High School)

Students focus on college prep skills.

Students apply the key microeconomic concepts of supply, demand, and the role of prices.

Students extend their math skills through advanced math concepts.

Provides the foudation for the laws that govern the concepts of motion and energy.

Elective - Math

Students esplore the relationship between advanced algebra and trigonometry.

A study of Ecology, the Biosphere, Forests, Water, Energy and Resources.
